Micro BNC Connectors
This is a new lightweight, True 75ohm, High Definition (3G), high density, BNC connector.
It is 50% smaller than standard BNCs and has been developed to meet the ever increasing
frequencies and data rates used in Broadcast (surpassing SMPTE 292M & 424M/HD-SDI
specifications), Telecoms, HDcctv, Instrumentation, Military and Medical markets. The small
size, positive easy locking connection and closed entry contact configuration are key features
in the design. Although the current range has been designed to match 75ohm Broadcast
cables, we can design versions to suit other cables on request.

The plugs are so small and can be used in such high densities that an innovative
design feature is the extended coupling nut to assist in mating and unmating
where it is difficult for fingers to reach. Where it is impossible for fingers to reach
there is a purpose designed Insert/Extract tool (see Page 45). Bayonet locking
offers speed and security of mating.

A range of board mounting jacks which offers a choice of vertical, right angle
and end launch orientations and mounting leg patterns. Closed entry contact
to prevent missmating.
