Soffit lighting
Low energy LED spotlights can be fitted within the
escalator soffit to illuminate the area beneath.
Bespoke lighting solutions
Escalators can be provided with cut outs, wiring and
fixings to enable clients to provide project specific
lighting solutions.
Comb lighting
LED comb lighting adds visibility to the escalator entry
and exit points and is ideal for areas of low light to
assist those with visual impairments.
Under step demarcation lighting
Green lighting beneath the horizontal steps at each
landing provide clear demarcation of the gaps between
adjacent steps, thereby helping passengers to stand
correctly on the step tread. Red/green coloured lights
can also be provided which automatically change
colour to suit the direction of travel, thereby acting
as traffic lights to help passengers to determine the
direction of travel.
