Austin Marketing has seen the arrival of three new members of staff as of recent, three new girls to take the reins and bring fresh new perspectives and ideas to everything we do. Let us introduce them:

Content Writer/ SEO Assistant

JadeFirstly, we have Jade, who started with us at the beginning of August. Jade has taken over the role of Content Writer and SEO Assistant. A university graduate with a degree in English and a full appreciation of how important words are to Google; search engine optimisation is something Jade is very keen on, with her broad understanding of the importance of quality and relevant content on websites.

Jade has already used her knowledge to improve the ranking of several of our customers websites, by improving web page content, creating blogs and case studies. Jade is very much part of the social media generation- she understands the value of social media and how important it is for businesses, so updating social media for clients is certainly no problem for Jade.

Business Development Manager

KirstieStarting in August shortly after Jade, we welcome Kirstie, our new Business Development Manager. Kirstie will be our clients’ first point of contact, and has arrived with an extensive background in sales and marketing, having previously worked in the life science marketing sector.

Kirstie’s job here at Austin Marketing will involve visiting new and existing clients to gain an understanding of their business, customers and goals. From then, Kirstie is here to work together with our clients and help them achieve their goals by delivering solutions, whilst overlooking the project from start to finish.

She is most excited about being on the agency side, as she feels that she can bring an understanding to clients’ situations having been on the opposite side for so long. She is also looking forward to being able to go out of the office and meet clients face to face.

Design Creative

BridgetFinally, we shall introduce Bridget, who has very recently moved to England from Christchurch, New Zealand, bringing her talents in design along with her. Taking over the role as Design Creative for us from the beginning of September, Bridget’s job will involve creating all manner of digital and print design, including websites, video, brochures, leaflets and much more. Having worked in marketing for three years previously in New Zealand, she is ready to bring her refined skills in graphic design to Austin Marketing. With her vast knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign, she is most excited to be working with online designs, as her previous job focused mainly on print.
